“Had my 18th and 19th ( could have been 17th 18th) birthday parties here in placemate 2, a joint affair with my mate Mike. ( our birthdays were close) Happy days and fond memories. I think I had my membership card up until the 90s. I remember placemate 1 or the Bowie room with very narrow stairs up to it. We used to split up depending on what we wanted to listen to then periodically meet up during the night. Spent a couple of years and in particular the summers with my still good friend Mike and others in this place and loved every minute of it. Do nightclubs still exist, are they still a thing?”
